How to use your GiveRound QR Code

Your QR code is the key to simplifying and streamlining how Seekers (people looking for donations and sponsorships) can reach you to make requests from your business.  Once you download your unique QR code from your GiveRound profile, you are ready to use it.  Here are some suggestions of how to put it to its best use:

If you have a storefront, print it and put it on your front window.  Don’t forget to use GiveRound’s brand collateral (which you can download from your Business page or through [this link here]) to help identify what it is for.  If you usually get a lot of walk-ins requesting things, this is a great way to help Seekers learn what your giving interests are.  They may still come in and chat with you if your goals are a match, but they may also look elsewhere if they learn they are not.

Post it at your Point of Sale (POS). Often people will wait to speak with you or your staff to make a request, and this is where you can thank them for thinking of your business, and direct them to the QR code to learn more.

Print it on your business cards or brochures, especially if you are already creating this sort of collateral. Not only does this offer a physical piece for Seekers to take with them if needed, but It is a great way to help people who are thinking about buying your goods or services about the fact that you give to the community too!  (It is well-documented that corporate giving helps businesses get new customers and build customer loyalty.)

If you purchase advertising anywhere, both print and online, include your QR code – again, it is a great way to help current and potential customers know about your commitment to community interests and needs.

Add it to your website and digital signage!  Phones can scan from screens too, so this can be an effective way to connect Seekers with your giving interests.

Last but not least: don’t forget to also include your web address for your GiveRound profile everywhere you post or publish your QR code.  Some people will prefer to access your information that way, so it’s important to make it available too.

Are there other ways you are using your GiveRound QR code? We’d love to hear from you at community@giveround.com.
